Interview Five Pros and Cons List

A lot of the same points that were brought out in your Wally interview would also apply here. Here are some things to consider:

Here is a Pros and Cons list that has been generated by the instructors for this course and has been enhanced by input from other students.
ProsCons
Low IT overhead No controls on the data being entered or changed in the files
Excel is a program everyone in your office can navigate/use Depending on outside group to protect your data might be a risk
You have no requirements to data structure (as previously mentioned) You still have the first in controls the file issue already mentioned
Shared directories is something that your IT department can doNot all tools can be fit to fix all problems. Excel is a good tool for what it was designed for, but that doesn't mean that it should be used for all problems

Remember that you have the capability to further enhance and expand this Pros and Cons list through the use of the comments section on this page.

Now you can continue on to your next interview.
